Saturday:

Sunday to Friday midday:

Saturday evening: special music, dance and singing gala at 21:00

Saturday night: from 23:00 until morning táncház and local dance gala

Sunday morning: breakfast and departure

THE CAMP PROGRAMME WILL INCLUDE:
- performances by
         traditional dance groups, dancers and singers from
         Kisküküllőmente and Sóvidék (video cameras allowed without charge)
- inspecting local handicrafts workshops
- video shows about folk dance, folk music and ancient folk customs
- a táncház every evening (always including local peasant dancers)
- games
- the folk song competition
- a special camp kindergarten (suitable for children from 3 to 9)

OPTIONAL TRIPS AVAILABLE
Szováta - the Bear's Lake (for swimming in a salt lake in natural setting)
Korond - visits to ceramics workshops
Parajd - visit to the saltmine.

PARTICIPATION FEE: 120 USD

The 120 USD entitles you to:
- full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- teaching fee
- full participation in camp activities
- accommodation:
        camping (showers available) or
        for an extra charge, if requested in advance, lodging will be arranged at
                  families (single/double rooms with bathroom - 2 USD/person/night) or
                  a hotel (8 km from the camp, approx. 10 USD/person/night)

DISCOUNTS(for the entire week only):
- each group of 6 attends for the price of 5 people (600 USD)
- 40% less for children of kindergarten age (72 USD)

NATIONALS OF THE FORMER EASTERN BLOCK
PROVIDED you are supported by a local foundation which is known to the organisers IN ADVANCE
PARTICIPATION FEE: 45 USD
-  each group of 20 adults attends for the price of 19 (855 USD)
-  each group of 35 adults attends for the price of 33 (1,485 USD)
-  40% less for children of kindergarten age (45 DM).

TRAIN
from Budapest
Nyugati Station to Miercurea Ciuc (train #406 "The Corona" dep. 17:05, arr. 06:38), thence to Felsősófalva  by bus (dep. Monday to Friday 6:45 and 14:30, Saturday and Sunday 6:45)
from Bucharest
to Miercurea Ciuc via Braşov, thence to Felsősófalva  by bus - see above

CAR
-  If bringing your own/hire car, the main road runs through the outskirts of the village.  At about the midpoint, there is a small bar and terrace on the Eastern side of the road.  About 25 meters South of the bar (again on the Eastern side of the road) is a cobbled road going uphill. Take the cobbled road and the camp registration is in the village hall. (The hall is set off by several steps and is about 100 meters along the road on the right hand side.)
- The organisers will provide contact with Western European participants travelling by car - if available.
